Practice problems for the ATI Dosage Calculation 4.0 Powdered Medications module

Reconstituting powdered vials: the concentration comes from the volume after mixing (the yield), not the diluent you add. When the label states the final concentration, that is the number to use. If your program assigned this module and you want more than its fixed question set, these generators cover the same skills with unlimited problems and step-by-step grading.

Questions people ask

Does this replace the module?

No. Your program's module is the assignment. This is extra practice on the same skills, with new numbers every time and each step graded.

Why is my answer slightly off on reconstitution?

Usually the diluent volume was used instead of the yield. Adding 9.5 mL to a 1 g vial gives 10 mL, so the concentration is 100 mg/mL.
